In 2015 my dear friend and now business partner Michael Selverne and I sat on a music panel together for the Creative Sector Summit and decided that our music community was disjointed. Our music scene had been growing rapidly, and started to attract more and more musicians and music professionals to town, joining the myriad of others that have been here for a decade, or two...or three. 

Today AMP is a full functioning 501(c)3 that hosts workshops and events each month, most of which are free to our members. Our membership has grown to over 360 people and we offer workshops on everything from craft, to production, and business, while also helping to provide a voice for working musicians and professionals whenever needed.
